495 Eleventh Avenue
495 Eleventh is a replicable model for leveraging site value and mixed-use development to maximize social housing and civic infrastructure. The project exemplifies vertical urbanism with a complex programmatic stacking providing cross-subsidization for a 100 percent income-restricted housing (often called social housing) high-rise, anticipated to be the tallest of its kind when construction completes. Demonstrating that high-density growth can serve everyone, the project integrates three hotel brands, affordable and supportive housing (single-room occupancy, transitional housing with social services), a grocery store, NYPD parking, and a range of services and amenities.
Located adjacent to the Hudson Yards development and the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, the valuable site location maximizes the economic potential for hospitality, retail, and amenities while providing a public benefit.
