Innovative Lateral Stability Solution for Repurposing a Partly-Built Supertall Tower into a Modern Sustainable Asset
The innovation in the structural design of Six Senses Residence lies in the application of a leaner and more efficient lateral stability system, designed to seamlessly integrate with the existing structural framework. This approach enabled the transformation of a 29-story as-built structure into a 518-meter supertall skyscraper with a renewed architectural design.
Additionally, compared to the original design, the system enabled the program to have a more open floor layout and increased usable space, adding significant value for the client.
